Picking a gift for a director of access
A director of access usually sits at the center of a lot of hard decisions. They work out how people with disabilities, language barriers or limited resources can reach a service, a building, a program or a piece of information, and they often do it with small budgets and big compliance deadlines. The job takes patience, a fair amount of advocacy, and a willingness to sit with a problem until it's solved. A gift that recognizes that work tends to land well. A tee with their title on it is a simple way to show you know what their role is called and that you respect it. For a longtime colleague, a mug works well on a desk that's probably covered in meeting notes. If you're shopping for a whole department, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name and their own size, which feels better than a generic group card.
