Picking a gift for a director of application
A director of application usually sits between the people who build software and the people who depend on it every day, deciding which applications get funded, how they fit together and when they get retired. That job means long planning meetings, vendor calls and a lot of translating between engineers and executives, so the gifts that land tend to be the ones that acknowledge the work without making it a joke. A tee with their title on it is a fine start, and a mug with the title and their name is the one that ends up on the desk in every meeting. If they've just been promoted into the role, a hoodie with their title and the year works well for the first stretch of hard quarters. You can make any of these theirs by adding their name or team on the second line, so the design reads as their own rather than a generic job shirt.
Director Of Application gift questions
Can I add their name or team under the job title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type their name, team or department there. The live preview shows how it will look before you order.
Is there a shorter version of the title?
You can type any wording you like into the text box, so a shorter form such as Director of Apps works if it suits them better.
What's a good gift for someone who just got the role?
A mug or hoodie with the title and the year they started is a simple way to mark a promotion without it feeling like a corporate gift.
Can I order for a whole application team?
Yes. Pick one design in the Team Shop, paste the names of everyone on the team, and choose a size for each person.
What sizes do the director of application shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director of application gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
