Picking a gift for a director of development
A director of development usually spends the day on the phone, in meetings and writing thank-you notes, and the work is mostly about relationships built over years. That makes the gifts they keep the ones that feel like they were picked for them: a soft tee for a weekend of gardening, a hoodie for the cold drive to a donor lunch, a mug for the desk where the fundraising plans get drafted. Put the title on it, or add the organization or a campaign year on the second line, and the design stops being generic office merch and becomes theirs. A mug works especially well for someone who spends hours at a desk, and a hoodie suits the long days of year-end giving season. You can personalize each piece in the preview before you order, so check the spacing of the longer title against the design first.
Director Of Development gift questions
Can I add the organization name or a campaign year?
Many designs have a second line for an extra word or year. Type it in and the preview will show how it fits with the title.
Is this a good gift for a retirement?
Yes. A mug or tee with their title and the year they finished makes a lasting keepsake for a long career in development.
Can I order for a whole fundraising team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to pick one design, paste the team's names, and choose a size for each person.
What sizes do the director of development shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director of development gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
