Picking a gift for a director of it
A director of IT usually carries the weight of the whole technology side of an organization, which means keeping systems running, managing budgets and vendors, and getting calls at odd hours when something breaks. Many of them have spent years climbing from help desk and sysadmin roles, so they know the grind behind the title. A gift that acknowledges that path tends to land well. A soft tee for the weekend, a hoodie for the cold server room or the commute, or a mug for the desk where they plan next quarter's refresh. Adding their name or the year they took the role makes it personal rather than generic. If you're shopping for an entire IT team and want to thank them together, one design with everyone's name on their own shirt is a nice way to say you noticed the work.
