Picking a gift for a director of library
A library director usually started out shelving books or running the desk, then moved up into budgets, staff schedules, board meetings and the endless task of keeping the building open and useful for everyone who walks in. They know the hours a library runs on, the programs that keep the children's room busy, and the quiet pride of a branch that finally gets its renovation. What lands well is a gift that treats the job as a real career. A shirt or hoodie with their title shows you noticed what they do. Add their library's name or the branch, and it becomes theirs. A mug is good for the office, where the coffee goes cold while they answer email. If you're buying for the whole staff, one design with each person's name can thank the team that keeps the place running, which is often more meaningful than a card alone.
