Picking a gift for a director of material
A director of materials usually sits between the people who need parts and the suppliers who make them, which means a lot of their day goes to purchase orders, delivery dates, inventory counts and the occasional phone call about a late shipment. They're the one who keeps the line running when a supplier slips, so a gift that acknowledges the work lands better than a generic office item. A mug with their title on it suits the desk where the planning happens, and a tee or hoodie with their role fits the plant floor or a weekend project. Put their title on the design, and if they've got a plant, department or company name they're proud of, that goes on the second line. Keep it practical and personal: they'll notice that you know what the job actually involves.
Director Of Material gift questions
Can I add a company or department name to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a department, plant or site name there. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a set date for a materials or supply chain appreciation day?
There's no widely recognized one that I can confirm, so the best time to order is whenever a project wraps up or a promotion comes through.
Can I order shirts for everyone on the materials team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the team's names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the director of material shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director of material gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
