Picking a gift for a director of software
A director of software usually sits between the engineers who build the product and the executives who need to know when it will ship. Their days are a run of planning meetings, sprint reviews, hiring loops and the occasional production fire, and most of the thanks they get comes from the team, not the org chart. A gift that acknowledges the actual job tends to land. A tee with their title on it works for the weekend, a hoodie for the cold office or the long flight to a client site, and a mug for the first coffee before the standup starts. Add a second line, like their team, their company's name if they're comfortable sharing it, or the year they took the role, and the design becomes specific to them rather than a generic job shirt. If you're buying for a whole engineering group that's chipped in together, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
Director Of Software gift questions
Can I add a company name or team name under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the company or team name there and check the preview before you order.
Is there a shorter version of the title?
Designs use the word you type, so you can shorten it to Software Director or Dir. of Software to fit the layout you like best.
What's a good gift for someone who just got promoted to this role?
A mug or hoodie with their title and the year they moved up marks the step without making a fuss. It's useful and easy to keep.
What sizes do the director of software shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director of software gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
