Picking a gift for a director of test
A director of test runs the people and process that decide whether a product is ready to ship. They spend their days reviewing test plans, chasing down flaky results, and arguing with engineering about what counts as a passing build, and their work only gets noticed when something breaks. That makes a gift that acknowledges the job a good fit. A shirt or hoodie they can wear to the office or on a weekend, or a mug for the desk where the bug reports pile up, says you see what they do. Add their team, product area or their own title on a second line so it sounds like them rather than a generic job tee. Testing leaders often get promoted from hands-on QA roles, so a gift that recognizes that path can land well too. Keep the tone light, since most of them already take the job seriously.
Director Of Test gift questions
Can I add a team name or product area to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a team, product or their name there and check the preview before ordering.
Is there a shorter version of the title?
You can change the wording in the text box, for example to QA director or test lead, and every design will update to match.
What's a good gift for someone who just got promoted to this role?
A mug or hoodie with their new title marks the step up. It's practical for the new job and something they can keep as a reminder of the promotion.
Can I order for a whole testing team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the team's names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the director of test shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director of test gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
