Picking a gift for a director of testing
A director of testing usually runs the people, plans and processes that decide whether a product is ready to ship, which means a lot of their week goes to schedules, bug triage and explaining to other departments why the release can't go out yet. Long days in front of dashboards and spreadsheets make a few things land well: a soft tee for the drive in, a hoodie for the chilly office or the lab, and a mug for the morning coffee that gets cold during the first meeting of the day. Gifts that acknowledge the job tend to stick. Type in the title exactly the way their team uses it, or add their team or department on the second line, and the shirt becomes theirs rather than a generic office gift. If you're buying for the whole QA group, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which is a nicer thank-you after a hard release than another round of donuts.
Director Of Testing gift questions
Can I add a team or department name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type in their team, group or department. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Is there a standard job title I should use?
Use whatever title your recipient actually holds, since it can differ between companies. If you're unsure, ask a colleague how their role is usually written and match that.
Can I order shirts for a whole testing team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: pick one design, paste a list of names and choose a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Are there designs for kids or babies as well?
Kids tees and a baby onesie are available for this word, though they are fewer in number than the adult designs.
What sizes do the director of testing shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director of testing gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
