Picking a gift for a director on air
A director on air is the person whose voice or face people hear every day, but who usually works from a control room or a studio booth out of sight. They're juggling timing, cues, and the feed while staying calm enough to sound effortless on camera or the airwaves. A gift that acknowledges that quiet, behind-the-scenes skill tends to land well. A tee or hoodie they can wear to the station on a long shift is practical, and a mug for the early-morning rundown is a small daily reminder that someone noticed the work. Type the words director on air into the text box, then add a second line for the station, the show name, or the year they started. That detail turns a generic job shirt into something only they would wear, and it's the kind of thing a coworker will remember.
Director On Air gift questions
Can I add the station or show name to a director on air design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the station call letters, show name, or a year there. The live preview lets you check the placement before you order.
Is there a shirt for a whole production crew?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to choose one design, paste the crew's names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What's a good gift for someone who just got promoted to director?
A mug or hoodie with director on air and the year they got the role works well. It's personal and marks the milestone without being showy.

Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
