Picking a gift for a director operating room
An operating room director runs the surgical suite as a whole: scheduling, staffing, supply, and the hard calls when a case runs long or a room goes down. They're usually a nurse or surgical leader who came up through the OR floor, and they still think like the people on it. What tends to land for them is something that acknowledges the job without being a joke about it. A tee for the drive in, a hoodie for the cold corridor and early starts, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't disappear into the break room. Put their title on it, director of the operating room or OR director, and add the facility or department line if you know it. A title printed on a shirt is a small signal that someone noticed the responsibility they carry, which tends to matter more than any clever slogan.
Director Operating Room gift questions
What title should I put on an operating room director shirt?
Use the wording they actually hold, such as director of surgical services, OR director or perioperative director. If you're unsure of their exact title, ask a colleague or type a simple version like OR director.
Can I add a name or year under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can add their name, a unit, or the year they started the role. The live preview shows how it will look before you order.
Is this a good gift for a whole surgical team?
It can be. The Team Shop prints one design with a different name on each shirt, so a whole department can order together and each person gets their own.
What sizes do the director operating room shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director operating room gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
