Picking a gift for a director periop
A director of perioperative services runs the whole surgical day: the OR schedules, the staffing, the instrument trays, the handoffs between pre-op, the operating rooms and recovery. Most of that work happens before anyone sees the patient and after the last case is closed, so it rarely gets thanked. A gift that says director periop tells them their job has a name and that you know it. Hoodies suit the early mornings in a cold OR suite and the late-night call from the floor. A mug fits the desk where the schedule gets rebuilt every time a case runs long. Tees work well for the whole team at once. If you're shopping for them, add their title or a second line with their department, and the design stops being a generic healthcare shirt and becomes theirs. Periop leaders often get little recognition outside their own building, so a personal piece they can wear or use every day lands better than another card.
Director Periop gift questions
Can I add a department or facility name under the title?
Many designs have a second line. Type the department, facility or unit there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Is there a version for surgical services staff in general?
Yes. Several of the periop designs can be used for any member of the surgical team. Look through the list and pick the wording that fits their role.
What's a good gift for a new periop director?
A hoodie or mug with their title is a practical choice that marks the new role without being overly formal.
What sizes do the director periop shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director periop gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
