Picking a gift for a director planning
A director of planning usually sits between the big picture and the spreadsheets, working out where a city, company or organization should be in five or ten years. The days tend to run long, full of zoning reviews, budget meetings, community hearings and drafts that get marked up in red more than once. A gift that acknowledges that work lands well: a tee they can wear to the office on a casual Friday, a hoodie for late nights at the desk, or a mug for the first cup of coffee before the agenda starts. Add their title on the second line, or the name of their department or town, and it stops being a generic job shirt. If you're buying for a whole planning team, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which is a nicer send-off for a colleague who's moving on than another card.
Director Planning gift questions
Can I add a department or city to a director planning shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the department, city or agency there. The preview updates as you type so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a kids version of this design?
Yes, there are kids tees in both light and dark colors. Those are mainly useful for a family member who works in planning and wants to show it off, rather than for children themselves.
What's a good gift for a director of planning who's retiring?
A hoodie or mug with their name, title and years of service works well. It's a keepsake they can use after they leave the office.
Can I order shirts for my whole planning department?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the director planning shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director planning gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
