Picking a gift for a director printing
A director of printing usually runs the press room or the whole production side of a print shop, which means they're the one who signs off on proofs at odd hours and catches the color shift nobody else sees. They're often the first in and the last out, and they spend a lot of the day solving problems that never show up on a finished piece. A gift that acknowledges that work tends to land well. Put their title on a shirt, or a hoodie for the chilly pressroom, or a mug that goes on the desk where they make the calls. You can personalize it with their name, the shop they run, or the year they took the role, so it reads as theirs rather than a generic job tee.
Director Printing gift questions
Can I add their company name under the job title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the company or shop name there and check the spacing in the live preview.
Is there a shorter version if the title is long?
You can shorten it to Print Director or Printing Director in the text box, and the preview will show how it sits on the design.
Can I order shirts for a whole print department?
Yes. Choose one design in the Team Shop, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the director printing shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director printing gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
