Picking a gift for a director product
A director of product usually sits between engineering, design and the business, deciding what gets built and why, and then spending a lot of time explaining that decision to people who want something else. They live in roadmap reviews, launch plans and stakeholder meetings, and most days they're juggling more priorities than anyone can finish. A gift that acknowledges that world lands well. A dark tee is an easy everyday pick for the commute or the weekend. A hoodie suits the long stretch before a big launch when the office is cold. An 11 oz mug is the one that gets used at the desk during the planning sessions. Put the title on it, or add a second line with a team name or the product they own, and it stops being a generic job shirt and becomes theirs. Product people tend to notice details and appreciate a gift that shows you noticed too.
Director Product gift questions
Can I add the product or team name under the job title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a team, a product area or a company-neutral detail there. The preview updates so you can check spacing before you order.
Is there a standard title I should use?
Titles vary a lot between companies, so type exactly what they use on their business card or email signature. If they go by Head of Product or VP Product, change the text to match.
What's a good gift for someone who just got promoted to director?
A mug or hoodie with the new title is a nice marker of the move. It's personal, practical and easy to use at work.
What sizes do the director product shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director product gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
