Picking a gift for a director public works
A director of public works runs the people and equipment that keep a town moving: the roads that get plowed before dawn after a storm, the water and sewer lines nobody thinks about until they break, the trash and recycling routes, the bridges and storm drains. The job is mostly invisible when it goes right, which is exactly why a gift that names it lands well. Think about the early mornings, the phone calls during a main break, and the crews they answer to. A shirt or mug with Director of Public Works on it says you noticed what they carry. For a practical touch, add the department or town they serve on a second line, since that's the detail coworkers and family will recognize. A hoodie suits the cold-weather callouts, and a dark tee works for the job site. Public works folks often wear their own gear for years, so a gift that's comfortable enough to wear on days off tends to get used.
Director Public Works gift questions
Can I add my town or department name to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type your town, city, or department there and check the preview before you order.
Is there a shorter version of the title that fits better?
Some designs use shorter wording, and you can type your own text in the box. Check the preview to see how a longer title fits on the chest or mug.
Do you have designs for kids or babies in this profession?
There are a few kids tees and a baby onesie in this set. Use the product filter to see only those.
Can I order for everyone on the public works team?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the director public works shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director public works gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
