Picking a gift for a director public
A public director runs a department, office or program that the public depends on, which usually means long meetings, budget cycles and more email than anyone can clear before lunch. The gifts they keep are the ones that acknowledge the job without turning it into a joke about paperwork. A soft tee for the weekend, a hoodie for the early council meetings in a cold room, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the first coffee before the phones start. Put the title on it exactly as they use it, since public directors often carry titles like Director of Public Works or Director of Public Health, and the right title makes the gift feel earned. If you're shopping for a whole team that reports to them, one design in the Team Shop with each person's name on their own shirt makes a more memorable farewell or promotion gift than a card passed around the office.
