Picking a gift for a director publications
A director of publications usually sits at the center of an organization's written voice, coordinating editors, designers and writers while keeping deadlines, budgets and the house style in line. Their days often swing between big planning meetings and last-minute proof checks, and the work is rarely visible unless something goes wrong, which makes a thoughtful gift land well. A tee or hoodie with their title shows you noticed what they do, and a mug on their desk is the kind of small daily pleasure that suits someone who lives in drafts and revisions. Think about where they work. A nonprofit, a university press, a company newsroom or a church communications office each has its own culture, so a gift that fits the setting will feel more personal than a generic office item. You can put their title on the front and add a second line for their department, their organization or their years of service to make it theirs.
Director Publications gift questions
Can I add the name of the organization or publication?
Many designs have a second line for an organization, department or publication name. Type it in and the preview will show you how it fits.
Is there a version for a shirt they can wear to the office?
Most of the designs are casual tees and hoodies, so they work well for relaxed office days and weekends. A plain mug is also a good everyday option at the desk.
Can I order shirts for my whole publications team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the team's names, and pick a size for each person.
Can I add their years of service or a credential?
Yes. Use the second line for a year, a credential or a milestone such as a decade of service, and check the spacing in the live preview.
What sizes do the director publications shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director publications gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
