Picking a gift for a director purchasing
A director of purchasing spends their days balancing vendor relationships, budgets and supply timelines, and the work mostly goes unseen until something arrives late or over budget. That makes a gift for them land when it acknowledges the job itself. They're often the person who stays late to close a contract, negotiates prices that save the company real money, and fields calls from frustrated departments. A tee or hoodie with their title on it is a small way to say you see that work. Add a second line with their company's department name or the year they took the role, and it becomes personal rather than generic. A mug suits the desk that's always covered in quote sheets and vendor catalogs. If you're buying for their whole team, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which is a nice way to thank a purchasing group that rarely gets recognized.
Director Purchasing gift questions
