Picking a gift for a director rail
A director of rail runs the people and plans behind trains that have to arrive on time, every time. That usually means long days split between yard meetings, budget reviews and early calls with crews who've been up since before dawn. Rail people tend to take pride in the work nobody sees until a route runs late, so a gift that acknowledges the long hours and the steady nerve it takes lands well. A tee for the weekend, a hoodie for the cold platform walks, or a mug for the office coffee run are all practical choices that a rail director will actually use. Put their title on the design, or the word rail with their name underneath, and the gift becomes specifically theirs rather than a generic work shirt. If you're shopping for a whole team, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is a nice way to mark a promotion or a retirement.
