Picking a gift for a director residence life
A director of residence life runs the housing side of a campus, which means they're the person students call when the heat is out, a roommate dispute turns ugly, or a floor needs a last-minute event. Their days are split between staff supervision, crisis calls and budget meetings, and their evenings often belong to hall events and on-call duty. A gift that acknowledges that work lands well. A tee or dark tee they can wear to a move-in weekend or a Saturday of campus events keeps them comfortable through long days outdoors. A hoodie suits the early mornings and late nights that come with the job. An 11 oz mug fits the desk, where a lot of the real work gets done. Type the title into the text box and use the second line for the institution's name or a year they started, so the gift feels like it was made for them specifically and not for anyone with a vaguely campus-flavored job.
Director Residence Life gift questions
Can I add the name of the college or university to the design?
Yes. Use the second line of the design for the school's name or a year. The live preview shows you how it sits before you order.
What title should I use if their job title is longer?
You can type the full title, such as director of residence life, or shorten it to fit. Check the preview to see how the wording sits on each product.
Is this a good gift for a new director starting their first job?
Yes. A new director often gets a welcome gift from their team, and a mug or tee with their title is an easy way to mark the start of the role.
Can I order for a whole residence life staff?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design and paste a list of names, with a size for each person, so every staff member gets their own shirt.
What sizes do the director residence life shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director residence life gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
