Picking a gift for a director residential
A residential director usually runs the day-to-day life of a building full of people, whether that's a university hall, a group home, a senior living community or a student housing complex. Their days are a mix of on-call emergencies, staff schedules, resident conflicts and late-night walkthroughs, and most of the thanks they get comes in small, scattered moments. A gift that acknowledges the job itself lands well. A shirt with their title on it is practical for the site office or a weekend fundraiser, and a hoodie is the thing they'll grab for the cold walk across campus at 2 a.m. A mug with their title gives them a small daily reminder that someone noticed the work. Add the name of their building or community on a second line if you know it, since that detail is what makes the gift feel written for them rather than picked off a rack.
Director Residential gift questions
Can I add my building or community name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the name of the hall, house or community there and the live preview will show you how it sits under the title.
Are there designs for a full housing staff team?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design and paste a list of names, with a size for each person, so every staff member gets a shirt with their own name on it.
What's the difference between a residential director and a resident assistant?
A residential director typically oversees a whole building or community and its staff, while a resident assistant lives among residents and handles day-to-day floor duties. Titles vary by school and employer, so check which one fits your recipient before you choose a design.
What sizes do the director residential shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director residential gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
