Picking a gift for a director science
A science director usually runs a lab, a research program or a whole department, which means they spend more time in meetings, budget reviews and grant deadlines than at the bench they once loved. The gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge that mix of hands-on expertise and leadership. A soft tee for the lab on a good day, a hoodie for the cold conference room where the big decisions get made, a mug for the desk where they draft the next plan. Make it theirs by adding their field or the name of their department, and any line that reflects their title, so the shirt says what they actually do. If you're shopping for a whole research team that reports to them, a single design with each person's name in the Team Shop makes a thoughtful way to thank everyone who keeps the science moving.
Director Science gift questions
What's the difference between director science and a science manager title?
The wording is yours to choose. Type the exact title your recipient uses on their badge or email signature so the shirt matches their role.
Can I add their lab or department name?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the lab, institute or department name there.
Is this a good gift for someone leaving their position?
It can be. A shirt or mug with their title makes a memorable farewell, and adding the year they started or left gives it a personal touch.
Can I order for a whole science team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to pick one design, paste the team's names, and choose a size for each person.
What sizes do the director science shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director science gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
