Picking a gift for a director ship
Directors of shipping, shipping directors, and similar titles usually run the part of a company that gets goods from point A to point B: warehouses, carriers, freight contracts, cutoff times, and the phone calls when a container is stuck at a port. It's a job that runs on deadlines and quiet competence, and most of the thanks they get comes from people who only notice when something goes wrong. A gift for someone in this role should feel like it was picked by someone who knows the pressure of a missed truck. A dark tee or hoodie suits the early warehouse mornings and the weekend check-ins, while an 11 oz mug fits the desk where the carrier updates pile up. Put the title on it, and add the company name, the department, or the year they took the role if you know it. That small detail turns a generic job shirt into one they'll actually wear.
Director Ship gift questions
Can I add their company or department to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a company, site, or department. Type it in and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a design that fits a shipping team rather than one person?
Yes. The Team Shop prints one design for a group. You paste a list of names and choose a size for each person, so each shirt gets its own name.
Should I write the full title or an abbreviation?
Use whichever they use at work. A full title reads well on a mug, while a shorter line can fit better on a tee or hoodie.
What sizes do the director ship shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director ship gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
