Gifts for Director Social Works

Picking a gift for a director social work

A director of social work usually runs a department of clinicians, handles admissions and discharge pressure, and keeps families, physicians and insurers pointed in the same direction, often while covering crises that started before the shift did. The gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge that load without making a fuss. A dark tee for the drive in, a hoodie for the office that's always cold, or a mug for the first coffee before the morning huddle. Put the title on it, or add the setting they work in, such as hospice, behavioral health or a school district, so it reads as theirs rather than generic. If you're honoring a whole department, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which tends to mean more than a catered lunch. Choose the wording to match how they like to be called, and skip anything that claims a credential they don't hold.
