Picking a gift for a director software engineering
A director of software engineering usually runs several teams at once, balancing sprint planning, hiring, architecture reviews and the steady stream of questions from people who need a decision today. They're often the one who has to translate between engineers who want more time and executives who want a launch date. Gifts that land for this person tend to be practical and a little bit wry: something for the long video-call days, something for the office kitchen, something that acknowledges the job without pretending it's glamorous. A tee with their title on it works for a team offsite or a casual Friday. A hoodie is for the cold conference room that's always set to the wrong temperature. A mug with their title becomes the one that quietly migrates to the engineering floor. Add a second line with their name, the team, or the year they took the role, and the gift stops being a generic job shirt and becomes theirs.
Director Software Engineering gift questions
Can I add a team name or a year under the title?
Many designs have a second line. Type the team, company division or year there, and check the spacing in the live preview before you order.
Can I order shirts for everyone on their team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Is there a version of this for a different engineering title?
Yes, you can type any job title into the text box. If you're buying for a manager at another level, try the title they actually hold so the design matches their role.
What sizes do the director software engineering shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director software engineering gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
