Picking a gift for a director state
A state director usually runs a program or agency that reaches across a whole state, so their days are split between budget meetings, legislative hearings, field visits and a long list of phone calls. Whether they lead a department of transportation, a public health office, a parks agency or an education board, they're the person who gets asked to explain a decision at eleven at night. A gift that acknowledges the long hours lands well. A comfortable hoodie for the drive between offices, a mug that holds the coffee through the early briefing, or a tee with their title on it for the Saturday errands they still manage to work through. Put the title on it, state director, and add the agency or the state name on a second line if you want it to be specific. Keep it low key; most state directors would rather have something useful than something flashy.
Director State gift questions
Can I add the state name or agency to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the state name, the agency or a department there. Check the preview to see how it sits before ordering.
Is a state director gift better as a practical item or a novelty?
Most people in the role appreciate something they'll use on work days, like a mug or hoodie. A printed title is a nice touch because it recognizes the job they've taken on.
Can I order gifts for a whole leadership team?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design and paste a list of names, then pick a size for each person so every shirt carries its own name.
What sizes do the director state shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director state gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
