Gifts for Director Student Lifes

Picking a gift for a director student life

A director of student life spends the day on the thing nobody sees: calendars, club budgets, the late-night call about a roommate conflict, the orientation that has to run perfectly. Most of the year they're the person students come to when something goes sideways, and they rarely get a thank-you that isn't a form. A gift that acknowledges the work lands well. Put their title on a tee for a campus walk or a hoodie for the chilly fall events they run every year. Add the institution or the year they started if you know it, and it becomes theirs rather than a generic staff shirt. A mug works well on the desk where they take the early morning calls before the building fills up. Keep it simple and sincere, since most of what they do is quiet, and a gift that says you noticed will mean more than anything flashy.
