Picking a gift for a director technical services
A director of technical services usually sits between the engineers who build things and the leaders who have to fund and schedule them. Their days are a mix of vendor calls, project reviews, staffing questions and the occasional outage that lands on their desk before breakfast. They tend to be the person everyone asks when a system breaks, so a gift that acknowledges that role lands well. A tee or hoodie with their title is a fun way to recognize a promotion or a long run of hard quarters, and it gives them something to wear on the days they're not in a meeting room. For the coffee mug, the title on an 11 oz mug is the kind of small joke a team will pass around. If you're buying for a whole department, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's own name, which is a simple way to mark a group project wrapping up.
Director Technical Services gift questions
Can I add a company name or department to the design?
Many designs have a second line. Type a department or team name there and check the preview before you order.
Is there a shorter version of the title?
Yes. Some designs use a shorter line, so you can change the wording to fit the way they introduce themselves.
Can I order for the whole technical services team?
Yes. Paste a list of names into the Team Shop, pick one design, and choose a size for each person.
Is this a good gift for a promotion?
It works well. A title on a shirt or mug marks the moment and gives them something to show off to the team.
What sizes do the director technical services shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director technical services gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
