Picking a gift for a director technology
A director of technology usually carries the weight of a whole organization's systems, budgets and tough calls, often while their phone buzzes with a dozen fires at once. The gifts that land tend to be the ones that acknowledge the job without turning into a work reminder. A soft tee for the weekend, a hoodie for the cold server room or the late evening video call, and a mug for the desk where the coffee always goes cold. Put director technology on the design and add a line that tells their story, like the company or department name, or the year they took the role. That turns a generic job shirt into something only they would wear. If you're buying for a leadership team that shares this title, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which tends to be more fun than another round of catered lunch.
Director Technology gift questions
Can I add a company or department name under the title?
Yes. Most designs have a second line where you can type a company, department, or year. The live preview updates so you can check spacing before you order.
Is there a shorter version of the title that fits better?
You can type any wording you like into the text box, so a shorter form such as Director of Tech or IT Director will work if it suits how they introduce themselves.
What is a good gift for someone who just got promoted to this role?
A mug or hoodie with their new title and the year they started makes a useful, personal reminder of the promotion that they'll use for years.
What sizes do the director technology shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director technology gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
