Picking a gift for a director transition
A director transition is the kind of change that wears a person down before it wears them out. Someone is stepping into a new role, inheriting a team, a budget and a set of expectations that were built by somebody else, and the first months are mostly listening, learning names and figuring out what not to touch yet. A gift for someone in this spot should acknowledge that the hard part is still ahead. A soft tee for the first week of new meetings, a hoodie for early mornings in a new office, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the long stretch of coffee and planning. Put the title on it, or the year they stepped in, so the piece marks the moment rather than just the job. If you're buying for a whole leadership group, the Team Shop lets you pick one design and paste each person's name, so everyone gets their own shirt with the same message.
