Picking a gift for a director translational
A translational research director sits between the bench and the clinic, pushing discoveries out of the lab and into real treatments. Their days tend to be a mix of grant deadlines, cross-team meetings with clinicians and scientists who don't speak the same language, and long stretches of reading that few people outside the field would enjoy. A gift that acknowledges that bridge work lands well. A tee or hoodie with their title on it is a clear, casual way to say you know what they do, and it works for the lab coat that stays on the hook at home. For a mug, it becomes the coffee they carry from one meeting to the next. Add their name, or a team or department line in the second spot, and it stops reading like a generic job shirt and starts feeling like theirs. If you're buying for a whole research group, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
Director Translational gift questions
Can I add a department or institute name under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the department or institute name there and check the preview before you order.
Is there a version with a shorter title?
You can type any title you like into the text box, so you can shorten or change the wording to match how they describe their role.
What's a good gift for someone who just got promoted to this role?
A mug or hoodie with their new title is a simple way to mark the move. It's useful at work and easy to keep.
What sizes do the director translational shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director translational gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
