Gifts for Director Transportations

Picking a gift for a director transportation

A director of transportation keeps buses, routes, drivers and schedules moving, usually on a budget that never quite matches the list of problems. Their days are a mix of phone calls before sunrise, route changes after a storm, and meetings where everyone wants the buses to run on time. Gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge the job without turning it into a joke about buses. A dark tee for the early-morning drive in, a hoodie for the cold lot where the fleet gets checked, or a mug for the desk where the radio and the spreadsheets live. Add the district or agency name on a second line if you know it, or the word transportation, so the shirt is clearly theirs. A simple, sturdy item they'd actually wear beats something flashy, since most directors spend their hours in a work polo or a parka more than anything else.
