Gifts from Dot Lake
Dot Lake is a small place, and people who grew up there tend to hold on to it. Whether they're still in town, living somewhere far away, or only passing through on the way to a bigger city, a Dot Lake shirt says where they're from in a way a generic souvenir never could. Small towns like this are built around people knowing each other: the same faces at the diner, the same roads home, the same arguments about who's bringing what to the church supper. A shirt or mug with the town name is a quiet way to say you know that about them. For someone who left and misses it, a Dot Lake hoodie gets worn on cold mornings far from home. For someone who stayed, it's the everyday shirt they reach for without thinking. Add a year or a second line if you want it to feel like theirs, like a graduation year or the name of the street they grew up on.
