Gifts from East Ellijay
East Ellijay is a small mountain town in north Georgia, the kind of place where people know each other at the gas station and the high school ballgame is the big social event. Someone from here who has moved away, or who never left, tends to wear their hometown proudly, and a shirt that names the town is an easy way to say where they belong. Mountain towns also have a strong outdoor side: hiking, fishing, long weekends on the trails, cold mornings with a mug of coffee on a porch. Pairing the town name with a cozy hoodie or a mug for the early mornings suits that life well. Since many people from small towns have ties to family and friends in the area, a design with the town name works for reunions, visits home, or a new grad heading out. You can add a second line for a graduation year, a family name, or a street, which makes the gift feel personal rather than like a souvenir.
