Gifts from East Hampstead
East Hampstead is a place people leave and keep coming back to, whether that's a childhood street, a school that still feels like home, or a town they only know from a parent's stories. A shirt with the name on it is how they carry it with them, to a new city, a college campus, or the next family reunion. Since the town's name is specific, the shirt does the work of saying where they're from without any explanation. Add a second line for a street, a school, or the year they moved away, and it becomes theirs rather than a generic town tee. For someone who's moved far from home, a mug on the kitchen counter is the everyday reminder of the place they miss. For a kid who lives there now, a kids tee or onesie lets the family claim the town early.
