Gifts from East Orland
East Orland is a small town in Maine, a place where people know the harbor, the hardware store and whose truck is parked where. A shirt or mug with East Orland on it is how someone who grew up there, or who just loves the place, says so. Locals often wear their hometown to the county fair, to a reunion or on a visit to family, and it's an easy way to start a conversation with another person from the area. For someone who left and misses it, a mug on the kitchen counter is a daily reminder of home. Because it's a small town, a gift like this is usually more meaningful when it's personal: add a street, a year they graduated, or the name of the family who's been there for generations. Many designs have a second line, so you can make it their own.
