Gifts from East Tawas
East Tawas is a small lakeside town on the shore of Lake Huron in Iosco County, Michigan, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. Summers bring boats, bait shops and beach days, and winters are quiet and cold enough that people remember them fondly. A shirt or mug with the town name is a way to say where someone is from, whether they still live there or left for school and a job somewhere far away. For a current resident, a hoodie is a practical gift for lake-wind evenings. For someone who moved away, a mug is the daily reminder of home. Pick the design that feels right, then use the second line to add a year, a class or a family name so the piece becomes theirs.
