Gifts from Echo Lake
Echo Lake is the kind of place people carry with them. Maybe it's a lake where a family spent every summer, a neighborhood with a name that turns up on a map, or a town a friend moved away from and still talks about. Either way, a shirt or mug with the name on it is a small way of saying that place still belongs to them. Lake towns tend to mean swimming, boats, campfires and sweatshirts pulled on when the evening cools off, so a hoodie or a dark tee suits the person who was always headed back to the water. For someone who lives far from home, a mug on the desk does the job of a postcard every morning. If you know a detail about the place, such as a street, a year they lived there or a nickname the locals use, add it on the second line of the design. That one line is what turns a town name into their town.
