Edible Frog gifts for the people who love them
Edible frog is the name for Pelophylax esculentus, a green pond frog found across much of Europe, and it's a species most people have never heard of until they hear the name and laugh. Someone who loves amphibians, runs a pond or works near wetlands will get a kick out of a shirt that names their favorite animal exactly. These frogs are known for their loud summer calls around water, so a design with the name on it reads as both a conversation starter and a small badge of knowing your wildlife. For a kid who's obsessed with frogs, the kids tee or baby onesie turns the name into something they can grow into. For the adult who keeps a pond, a mug is the easy daily reminder. Because the name is unusual, a second line with their own name or the pond they watch gives the gift a personal touch.
Edible Frog gift questions
What is an edible frog?
Edible frog is the common name for a green frog species in Europe, Pelophylax esculentus, that lives in ponds, lakes and wetlands. It gets its name from the fact that its legs have long been eaten in some regions.
Can I add a name or a second line to the design?
Many designs have a second line for a name, a pond or a year. Type it in and the preview updates so you can check the layout before you order.
Are there designs for kids?
Yes. There are kids tees and a baby onesie with the word, so you can pass the interest down to a younger frog fan.
Is there a design for a group, like a nature club?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you pick one design and paste a list of names, with a size for each person, so everyone gets their own shirt.
What sizes do the edible frog shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an edible frog gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
