Gifts from Effie
Effie is a first name, and that's the first thing to settle, because the page is set up for a word that could also be a city, so here's the honest read. Effie isn't a place in any sense I can confirm, and I don't know enough about a town by that name to describe its streets, its history or its people. What I can speak to is the person a first name like this usually belongs to: someone who gets a little pleased when a name shows up on a mug, a shirt or a hoodie that's really theirs. A name gift lands when it's worn or used every day, so a tee for the weekend, a hoodie for cold mornings, or a mug for the first coffee of the day all make the name part of the routine. You can make it more personal by adding a second line, like a nickname, a year or a middle name, so it reads as something chosen rather than something off a rack. If you'd like a place on the shirt, type the town's name into the second line and the preview will show you how it sits.
Effie gift questions
Is Effie a city or a first name?
On this page it's listed as a city, but Effie is also a common first name. If you're buying for someone named Effie, the designs work the same way. If you meant a particular town, you can type its name into any design.
Can I add a second line to the design?
Many designs have a second line for a nickname, a year, a middle name or a place. Type it in and the live preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
What's a good gift for a child named Effie?
A kids tee or a baby onesie with the name is a classic choice. Pick a second line with a favorite animal or a birth year to make it feel more theirs.
Can I order matching shirts for a group?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the effie shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an Effie gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
