Gifts from El Sobrante
El Sobrante is an unincorporated community in Contra Costa County, in the East Bay of Northern California, and the people who call it home tend to be proud of a place that doesn't always get its own name on the map. A shirt that says El Sobrante is how someone shows that they're from here, whether they still live there, moved to a nearby town, or left for another state and miss the hills and the familiar streets. For a family member or friend who's far away, a mug or hoodie with the community name is a steady reminder of where they started. Since the name is a bit unusual, it works as a conversation starter: people will ask about it, and the person wearing it gets to tell them. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a street, a school, a graduation year or the year they moved away, which turns a simple place name into something that belongs to one person.
El Sobrante gift questions
Can I add a street or a school under the community name?
Many designs have a second line. Open the design you like and type a street, school or year there, and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Is El Sobrante a city?
It's an unincorporated community in Contra Costa County, not a city with its own government. That's part of why many people here take pride in the name.
Can I order shirts for several people at once?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person, so everyone gets a shirt with their own name.
What sizes do the el sobrante shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an El Sobrante gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
