Picking a gift for an electric meter reader
Electric meter readers spend their days walking routes in every kind of weather, checking dials and gates, and reading meters that are often tucked behind bushes or along back fences. A gift for someone in this line of work should respect that: a comfortable tee for the next long route, a hoodie for early mornings when the truck heater hasn't caught up yet, or a mug for the coffee they carry from the first stop. What makes a gift land is seeing their job named plainly. Type electric meter reader into the text box, then use the second line for their utility company's name, their crew, or the year they started. That detail makes the shirt theirs and gives coworkers something to ask about. Whether it's a first-year reader or someone who has covered the same neighborhoods for decades, the personal line makes the difference.
