Picking a gift for an electronic resources librarian
An electronic resources librarian keeps the digital side of the library running: database licenses, e-book platforms, proxy logins that stop working at the worst possible moment, and the patrons who just need the article to download. It's a job that mostly goes unnoticed until something breaks, which makes a thank-you gift land well. A tee or hoodie with their title gives them something to wear on the days they're fielding access problems from the reference desk. A mug is a good fit for the desk where they spend hours troubleshooting, and it's a quiet way of saying you noticed the work. You can put their name or institution on the second line to make it personal. For a whole team of electronic resources staff, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
Electronic Resources Librarian gift questions
Can I add their name or library to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type their name or the library's name there. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a shorter version of the job title?
You can type any wording you like into the text box. Some people use Electronic Resources or E-Resources Librarian if the full title is too long for the design.
Can I order shirts for a whole library department?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the electronic resources librarian shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an electronic resources librarian gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
