Gifts from Elmendorf Afb
Elmendorf Air Force Base sits just outside Anchorage, Alaska, and the people who live and serve there have a particular kind of pride. Many are stationed there for a few years and then move on, so a shirt with the base name is how they carry it with them. Airmen and their families often describe Alaska winters and the Chugach mountains as the thing they miss most after a move. A hoodie is the practical choice for those cold mornings on the flight line or the first snow of the season, while a dark tee suits the weekend hike or the base gathering. For a spouse or child who's new to the area, a kids tee or baby onesie with Elmendorf AFB printed on it is a warm way to mark the move. Add a unit, squadron or the year of their assignment on the second line to make it theirs, rather than a generic base shirt.
Elmendorf Afb gift questions
Can I add a squadron or unit name to the design?
Many designs have a second line for a unit, year or name. Type the squadron or assignment year there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Is Elmendorf AFB the same as Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson?
Elmendorf was combined with nearby Fort Richardson into Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, but many people still use the Elmendorf name for the air base. Use whichever name the recipient uses day to day.
What's a good gift for someone who just got stationed there?
A hoodie or mug with the base name is a useful welcome gift. If they're moving with family, a kids tee or onesie can include the whole household in the same gesture.
What sizes do the elmendorf afb shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an Elmendorf Afb gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
