Gifts for Endoscopy Teches

Picking a gift for an endoscopy tech

Endoscopy techs spend their shifts in dim procedure rooms, setting up scopes, monitoring sedation and keeping a steady hand while the physician works. Their days run long and quiet, and the gifts they keep tend to be the ones that make the rest of their life feel a bit easier. A soft tee for the drive home, a hoodie for a cold morning in a chilly procedure suite, a mug that's clearly theirs for the break room coffee. The things that land best show you understand the job. Type in endoscopy tech and add a second line for their unit, GI lab, or the practice they work at, so the shirt reads like it belongs to them. If they're shopping for a whole department, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a thoughtful thank-you for a team that rarely gets noticed. Endoscopy techs often celebrate National Medical Assistants Week or hospital appreciation days in the spring, so the weeks before those are a good time to order.
