Picking a gift for an engineering assistant
An engineering assistant keeps the lab, the drawings and the calendars running, often with more technical knowledge than their title suggests. They're the one who knows where the calibrated tools are, which purchase order is stuck, and how to get a prototype out the door before a deadline. Their days are a mix of spreadsheets, parts counts, and quick problem-solving between engineers, so the gifts they actually use tend to be practical and a little bit proud. A tee with their job title on the front says that this role matters, not just the engineers' names on the door. Put their name on a mug for the break room or the bench, and it stops being a shared cup nobody claims. For a team gift, one design can be printed for everyone in the group using the Team Shop, with each person's name on their own shirt. Hoodies suit the cold hallways and early-morning site visits, and kids designs are there if the job runs in the family.

What's a good gift for a new engineering assistant?
