Picking a gift for an engineering group leader
An engineering group leader is usually the person who has been the strongest individual contributor for years and then got handed a team, a budget, and a calendar full of other people's problems. Their days are split between code or drawings reviews, one-on-ones, sprint planning, and trying to protect their engineers from interruptions. A gift that shows you understand that middle-management squeeze tends to land well. Something for the early mornings before standup, a hoodie for the long stretch of design reviews, or a mug for the coffee that gets cold while they're unblocking someone. Put their title on it as written, or add the team or function underneath so it reads as their role and not a generic office item. If you're buying for a whole group, the Team Shop lets you pick one design and list each person's name for their own shirt, which is a nice way to thank a team that has been carried by one good leader.
Engineering Group Leader gift questions
Can I write the full title or shorten it?
Either works. Type the title as your team uses it, or shorten it to Eng Group Lead. The live preview shows how the line fits before you order.
Can I add their team or company function under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can add the team name or a function like platform or infrastructure underneath.
Is there a design for a group leader on a kids shirt?
Kids versions are available, though the title is usually better suited to adult sizes. You can check the kids designs for this word on the page.
What sizes do the engineering group leader shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an engineering group leader gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
