Picking a gift for an engineering intern
Engineering interns spend their summers learning that the job is half design and half figuring out why the test rig failed at 4 p.m. on a Friday. They're usually students still in school, working long hours in a lab or an office and trying to look like they belong on a team of people with licenses and years of experience. A gift that says engineering intern tells them their work counts, even before they've shipped anything. Put the company or the school in the second line if you want it personal, or their graduation year if they're heading into their final term. The hoodie is what they'll wear on cold lab days and at the campus career fair. The mug is for the long mornings over a calculus problem set or a code review. The shirts make good first-day or last-day gifts, and they're easy to wear to the office or the workshop.
Engineering Intern gift questions
Can I add their school or company to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type in a school, a company name or a graduation year below the main text. The live preview shows how it will look before you order.
Is engineering intern a good gift for a student who isn't working yet?
It can be, if they've been accepted or are lining up an internship. Many students wear the shirt to the first day or the career fair as a way of marking the step.
Can I order shirts for everyone on an intern cohort?
Yes. Use the Team Shop, pick one design, paste the list of names and choose a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the engineering intern shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an engineering intern gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
