Picking a gift for an engineering mgr
Engineering managers sit between the code and the people who write it. Their days are a mix of sprint planning, one-on-ones, hiring loops and the occasional production incident they have to explain upward. They're usually the one who stayed late to make sure the team had what it needed, and few of them get a gift that acknowledges that. A tee or hoodie with their title on it says you noticed the job. Add the team or the product they're responsible for on a second line and it stops being a generic work shirt. The mug is the easy win for the desk, where most of their coffee gets drunk while they're in a meeting that should have been an email. Something lightly funny about the job tends to land better than a motivational slogan, since most managers have already heard enough of those from their own leadership.
Engineering Mgr gift questions
Can I add a team or product name under the title?
Many designs have a second line for a team, a product or a year. Type it into the text box and check the live preview before you order.
Is engineering manager a title they can wear to work?
Yes, most people wear tees and hoodies to the office, and a simple title design is usually fine in any engineering setting. If their workplace is formal, a mug may suit them better.
What's a good gift for a new engineering manager?
A mug or hoodie with their title and the year they started the role marks the promotion without being overwhelming. It's the sort of thing they'll keep on the desk for a long time.
Can I order shirts for their whole team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the engineering mgr shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an engineering mgr gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
